Originally established in 1944 as a specialized credit institution, BankMed was among the first national banks to be licensed following Lebanon’s independence in 1943. The bank has been growing progressively over the years and is
currently ranked among Lebanon’s top 5 banks in terms of total assets with 59 branches spread along the country.
